Reiki Level 1 is an introductory course to Reiki energy and Reiki healing. This weekend course run over Saturday and Sunday will give you insight into how energy works, the background of Reiki and our lineage, as well as attune you to Reiki energy itself. You will learn Reiki meditations, how to Reiki others, as well as how to Reiki yourself. You’ll also meet other like-minded people, and have the opportunity to connect and practice Reiki on each other in a supportive environment. After Reiki Level 1, you will be able to practice Reiki on yourself, and your friends and family.

You will receive a 21-day e-course to support you through integration. As your body adjusts to the frequency of Reiki, you may find you experience some shifts in your mind and body. To support and help you through these adjustments, you will receive an email every day for 21 days, with exercises and journal prompts to guide you. You can also email me and ask questions at any time.

Reiki Level 1 is the initial introduction to Reiki, and in Reiki Level 2, you will dive deeper into your Reiki practice. You will learn 3 sacred symbols to use in your Reiki practice, as well as learn more advanced Reiki meditations. You’ll learn how to send Reiki distantly and online, as well as how to use Reiki to heal and clear past and current situations. There are two Reiki Level 2 attunements, as well as Reiju, a spiritual blessing. There is also ample opportunity to practice hands-on Reiki in different ways. After you have completed Reiki Level 2, you will be able to practice Reiki professionally if you wish. You will also receive a 21-day e-course after Reiki Level 2 to assist with integration.

All my Reiki Courses are accredited with the ARC (Australian Reiki Connection*), and as per their guidelines, there must be 3 months between Reiki Level 1 and Reiki Level 2. The purpose of this is to allow plenty of time for your body to integrate and get used to the frequency of Reiki, as well as allow time for any shifts and adjustments to occur. There is also plenty of time to practice Reiki on yourself and your friends and family too, before completing the next level of Reiki.

Reiki Level 3 ‘Reiki Master Practitioner’ is now a 1-day course. You will receive and be attuned to the Reiki Master symbol, and learn different ways to practice Reiki with all the Reiki symbols. You’ll learn how to manifest with Reiki, and we will go through how to practice Reiki professionally in more depth. There will also be plenty of hands-on practice, and time for questions and discussion. You will also receive a 21-day e-course for the following 3 weeks to support you through integration.

Reiki Master Practitioner (Reiki Level 3a) is a 1-day course. This is meant as a bridging course to Reiki Mastership. Reiki Mastership (Reiki Master Teacher) is a 12 month mentorship with Casey. You will spend 1:1 sessions with Casey over the course of 12 months, where you will receive two new Reiki symbols, learn how to attune others to Reiki, and how to run your own Reiki workshops. You will learn how to hold space, learn how to give Reiju (spiritual blessings), and be supported in writing your own Reiki manuals. Reiki Mastership can only be taken 12 months after Reiki Level 2, so Reiki Master Practitioner (Reiki 3a) is the bridge in between to keep your Reiki practice going, and allow you to continue to connect deeply with Reiki. Reiki Level 3a can be undertaken 6 months after Reiki Level 2.

After you have received a Reiki attunement, you will go through an integration period. Usually after a Reiki healing treatment, it takes around 2-3 days for Reiki to process through your body. After a Reiki attunement, it can take up to 3 weeks. During integration, you might notice shifts in your mindset and how you see yourself and the world around you. You might notice emotional shifts, or emotions bubbling to the surface. It’s also common to experience physical shifts in digestion, possible headaches, changes in sleep, and different food cravings. In addition, you might notice your intuition opens up, and you might have spiritual, psychic or energetic experiences that you haven’t had before. All of these changes and shifts are normal and usually settle down within the 3 week period. It’s important to drink plenty of water, eat nourishing food, and get lots of rest. I’m also available if you have questions or need support during this time.

A Reiki attunement is a sacred initiation process whereby a Reiki Master Teacher will initiate and attune a Reiki student to Reiki energy. This is done through a specific process where the Reiki student will sit with their eyes closed, and the Reiki Master will open up the students energy channels, and attune or align them with Reiki energy. It’s a beautiful process, and students can experience a range of shifts, emotions, visions, and more. It is advisable to drink plenty of water and eat nourishing foods during a Reiki Course to support your body through these processes.

Usui Reiki was founded by Mikau Usui, a Japanese monk in 1922. This form of Reiki is the most common and widely known form of Reiki.

Seichim Reiki or Sekhem Reiki is an Egyptian form of Reiki, rediscovered by Patrick Zeigler in 1980. Seichim (saysheem) comes from the Egyptian word Sekhem, translated to ‘The Power of Powers’. This Reiki is ancient and sacred, and is an advanced form of hands on healing that includes sounds and symbols. Seichim is a multidimensional light energy, and has links to Goddess Sekhmet, and Goddess Kuan Yin.

Usui Reiki and Seichim Reiki are different energetic frequencies. It is said that where Usui Reiki leaves off, Seichim takes over. Seichim is another dimension of the Reiki system. Usui Reiki is considered masculine, while Seichim is considered the embodiment of the feminine. Both together can work to unify the masculine and feminine to balance and harmonise the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual bodies. Seichim is unifying and strengthening, reminding us that we are all one, and ALL LOVE.

Seichim Reiki is stronger and more powerful, therefore you must have completed Usui Reiki Level 2 before doing Seichim Reiki Level 1 (prerequisites).

Seichim Reiki Level 1 is undertaken over a weekend Saturday and Sunday. You will be attuned to Seichim Reiki, and be gifted 6x sacred Seichim Reiki symbols. You’ll learn how to use these symbols and the energy behind them, and there will be plenty of meditation and hands-on Reiki practice. You’ll also learn more about the masculine and feminine energies, how to cut cords and ties, and processes for forgiveness and atonement. You’ll also receive a 21-day e-course afterwards to support you through your practice and integration.

Trust your intuition with whom you feel drawn to! I would also encourage you to book in for a Reiki healing with the person you are considering learning Reiki from. That way you will get a sense of their energy, their style, and whether you click with that person. If you would like to book in for a Reiki Healing or Reiki + Coaching session with me, you can do so online here. If you’d like to read more about Reiki Level 1, click here. If you have any further questions about my courses, feel free to contact me here.

That is wonderful you would like to start your own Reiki business! I’m all about supporting those who would like to share Reiki with the world. You will need to ensure you have completed Usui Reiki Level 2 to practice professionally. If you are in need of extra support, I offer Reiki Mentoring sessions. These sessions are not for practicing Reiki per se, but rather for asking questions about your Reiki business. For example, we can go through how to set up your business ABN, website, marketing, managing clients, how to deal with difficult clients, and attracting clients to your business. We can go through how to set up a Reiki room and location, how many clients to see in one day, and energy management and protection. You can also ask questions and receive support about any weird, scary or confusing energy situations with yourself or clients too. Read more here.

The best person to practice Reiki on first, is yourself! Regular or daily self-Reiki practice is important for you to understand your own energy, how Reiki works, and feel the difference within yourself of how Reiki can help you. You can also ask your family and friends if you can practice Reiki on them, even if it’s a simple 10 minute Reiki practice. You can also practice on your plants, your house, your crystals, and literally anything else. I would also encourage you to come along to our Reiki Healer Community Circles. These are great opportunities to practice Reiki on other people, ask questions, and exchange details with other like-minded people with whom you can potentially do Reiki swaps with too!

The ARC offer two types of memberships – a non professional membership (for those who are not practicing Reiki professionally) and a professional membership (for those who are practicing Reiki professionally). It’s up to you if you would like to become a member or not! All my Usui Reiki Courses are accredited with the ARC and are in line with our lineage (Usui Shiki Ryoho).

Wonderful! I’m so glad you have more questions. Feel free to contact me here, or you can book in for a Reiki Mentoring session to answer any further questions you might have.
