First step in becoming a Reiki healer

What is the first step in becoming a Reiki healer? Firstly, I love that you are interested in learning more about Reiki! Before booking into a Reiki course, it is highly advisable to experience a Reiki treatment yourself first. I would encourage you to book in with me for a Reiki healing, so you can experience what it is like from a clients perspective, and truly experience the beauty of the after-effects of Reiki.

What is the first Reiki course?

Once you have had a Reiki treatment and you are interested to learn more, you can book into Reiki Level 1. This is the introductory course in becoming a Reiki healer. In this course, you will be attuned to Reiki energy. You will learn how to channel Reiki energy through you, to be able to treat both yourself and others. You will learn about the history of Reiki, your Reiki lineage, how Reiki works, as well as experience both treating and receiving Reiki.

What can I do after Reiki Level 1?

Once you have completed your first Reiki course, your body will go through a rebalancing process. This can take a few weeks, as your body adjusts to its connection to Reiki. During Reiki Level 1, you will have several attunements to Reiki, plus receive a special Reiju spiritual blessing. Your body will need time to shift and adjust, so drink plenty of water and rest up as much as you can. After your Reiki Level 1, I will be sending you daily emails to help and support your journey over the next 21 days. It can also help to journal about your experiences over the following 3 weeks after your course.

Can I treat others with Reiki after completing Reiki Level 1?

Reiki Level 1 is an introduction to Reiki healing. You will be able to practice Reiki on yourself, which is a truly amazing gift. You can also treat your friends and family with Reiki if you wish, however you will not be qualified to practice Reiki professionally until you have completed your Reiki Level 2.

How soon after Reiki Level 1 can I do Reiki Level 2?

It is a requirement that you wait 3 months between Reiki Level 1 and 2. This gives your body plenty of time to absorb and adjust after being attuned to Reiki energy. It also gives you plenty of time to continue to practice self-Reiki, to integrate the Reiki Principles into your daily life. Even though learning Reiki is simple, it takes practice afterwards to become accustomed to regular meditation and self-Reiki practice.

If you are interested in learning more, you can click on Reiki Level 1 or Reiki Level 2 to find out more. I am so excited to share my passion for Reiki with you!
