Learn Reiki Level 1 to get started on your Reiki journey! It’s my favourite of all the Reiki courses and I know you’ll love it just as much as I do.
Reiki Level 1
During your Reiki Level 1 course, you’ll learn how Reiki works, what Reiki actually is, and the history and lineage of Reiki. You will then receive 3 Reiki attunements, which are special rituals that activate your innate healing system. You will also receive Reiju, a spiritual blessing. Reiju is a unique experience in which you will feel more calm and connected to Reiki energy. Reiju also enhances the attunements, and is deeply healing.
Practice Reiki on yourself and others
Throughout the course, you will also learn the hand positions to be able to practice Reiki on yourself. There will be plenty of meditation and self-Reiki practice time. Then you will learn the hand positions to be able to practice Reiki on others, and both give and receive a full Reiki healing.
What about the Chakras?
Reiki comes from Japanese lineage, and the chakra system has its basis in ancient Indian yogic texts. They are separate energy systems, and as such they are taught separately. This ensures Reiki Level 1 stays in the more traditional format and in keeping with Japanese teachings. However, I do teach the chakras as a separate workshop in addition to Reiki Level 1. I personally love the chakras and use them on a daily basis in my yoga classes and with my Reiki clients!
Chakra workshop
In the chakra workshop addition, you will learn what the chakras are and their properties, and also how to practice Reiki using the chakra system. You will experience both giving and receiving a full Reiki healing using the chakras, as well as learn how to do a chakra balance on each other. The chakra system marries very well with Reiki, and can absolutely be used together to promote overall healing and wellbeing.
How do I book in?
You can book in to Reiki Level 1 using this booking system here. The course runs for 2 days, over 2 consecutive Sundays, with the first Reiki Level 1 course starting on the 7th and 14th March. You will need to book in to reserve your spot, and spots are limited due to keeping the group size small.
