Learning Reiki is a process

Learning Reiki is a continual process, even after you complete your Reiki training.

Love to learn

I have always been someone who loves to learn. I’ve done countless courses, spent thousands of dollars, not to mention a lot of time! Some of these courses I didn’t use straight away, and others I did. But none of them have been a waste – rather the knowledge I have gained, not just in the learning material, but in myself, has been priceless.

Growth mindset

Growth comes from putting yourself out there, trying new things, and experiencing something different. If we do what we have always done, it’s too easy to stay the same. But what happens when something unexpected occurs? We won’t have learnt the skills we need to adapt and change to the unexpectedness of life when it inevitably occurs.

Quality of life = handling uncertainty

The last year or so especially has shown us the changeability of the world. If we are not able to adapt to the rapidly changing situations we find ourselves in, we will be left behind. We will struggle mentally, physically and emotionally. Tony Robbins, entrepreneur and life coach, says ‘the quality of your life is directly related to how much uncertainty you can comfortably handle’.

Learning Reiki

Learning Reiki has changed my life, as I’ve become more able to handle change, I know myself on a much deeper level, and I have greater faith and trust in myself to be able to handle whatever life throws at me.

Reiki training

When I first did my Reiki Level 1 training, my perspective shifted. I became more self-empowered and learnt to trust my intuition more. After my Reiki Level 2, I started practicing Reiki professionally. Through helping others with Reiki, I was actually helping myself. I found the gift of giving and being fully present for my clients an absolute joy, and my heart started to expand even more. Once I had completed Reiki Level 3a and my Reiki Mastership, I was well and truly ready to take my Reiki business to the next level – teaching others how to practice Reiki.

Learning Reiki is a process

One of the biggest things I learnt through my Reiki training however, was that Reiki is an ongoing practice. Once you complete your Reiki training, learning Reiki does not stop there. It’s a continual practice of meditation and self-Reiki, and learning how to be the best Reiki Master I can be for my clients. Reiki is not just about connecting to oneself, but recognizing that we are all connected as one.

Book in for Reiki Level 1

If you have ever been interested in learning Reiki, or trying something different, now is your chance! You don’t have to practice Reiki professionally afterwards, or even do anything with it! But you never know what you might learn about yourself, or when this knowledge may come in handy in the future! To find out more, click here.
