Nothing is at it seems
‘Nothing is as it seems’ is a spiritual download that I received on Friday night. It was during the full moon and winter solstice. Interestingly the sun was squaring Neptune, the planet of dreams, fantasies and illusions. Over the weekend, I’ve gotten so much more clarity and insight coming through, and this has made for some very interesting realisations!
We don’t know it all
We can learn skills and strategies, and we can read books and listen to podcasts, but there is no way we can ever ‘know it all’. The moment we think we know everything, is the moment we will hit the next challenge! As a Reiki Master Teacher and mindset coach, I teach, guide and help people heal as a full time job. I’ve been doing inner work, personal development and energy work for so many years. Yet I’m also very aware that what I know is just a teeny tiny speck of the wisdom of the Universe.
Beginner mindset
By remaining in a beginner mindset, it stops our Ego from taking over. In the spiritual and healing field, I observe a lot of practitioners operating from a ‘I know more than you’ mindset. A practitioner that operates from a heart based place still uses knowledge and insight, but is driven by a deep recognition of the light and power that lies within all of us, their clients included.
Wounds and worthiness
The secret to being a great teacher and healer, is to know my skills and capabilities, AND also knowing that I’m imperfect too! I still have wounds, challenges, and I absolutely make mistakes too. Both can exist, and that is called being human. By going through my own challenges, and encountering resistance and overcoming it, I’m building my own inner strength. I’m integrating all the knowledge I’ve gained and teach others, turning it into a deep understanding within my own soul.
A message from Spirit
The world is seemingly a messy place. It feels chaotic, overwhelming, and even depressing at times! However a message I received from Spirit recently, is a reminder that everything is happening for our highest good. Every challenge, every dark hour, every frustration that presents itself, is the way forward. By overcoming these things, we learn new skills, we build endurance, and we gain insight. We only have a tiny speck of information at any one time. But the greater Universe is actually divinely orchestrated. We just need to trust that around the corner, is growth, light, and greater amounts of love, if we choose to see it.
Divine visions
I also received a divine vision of the total Universe. Within the total Universe, I saw our galaxy. Then I saw planet Earth, then Australia, Victoria, and then Melbourne. I saw Elwood and my house, and my abilities. Spirit then showed me a long horizontal line, with markers along the line. These markers symbolised my lifetime. Then Spirit showed me other markers, symbolic of my other lifetimes. The message was simple. You are but a mere dot in the greatest, most vast and expansive Universe. There are multiple dimensions and timelines, and you have multiple lifetimes. You are not meant to know it all now. There is no way you can do it all in one lifetime! We only have a finite amount of energy, knowledge and time, and we just need to do our best in the moment that we have now. That is all that is being asked of us.
What we have, is what we need
It was a massive relief to receive this message! It took the pressure off, and made me remember to stay present, and just focus on what I could do now. It meant I didn’t need to know it all, and learn everything right now. I had all the knowledge that I need at this moment, to do my best right now. I could then relax, and enjoy the Reiki Level 2 course I was teaching! It was a beautiful message, sent to me at exactly the right time.
Anchor into your heart
If you ever feel overwhelmed, worried, or depressed at the state of the world, know that nothing is at it seems. I know sometimes it can feel dark, and that there is so much turmoil going on. In those moments, we just need to trust in the greater Universe, stay anchored in our hearts, and do our best. We only have the present moment, and if we can move through life from a heart centred place, the world will be a beautiful place for all.
