What is Seichim Reiki?
Seichim Reiki is a powerful form of Reiki energy healing that penetrates on a deeper level. Known as ‘The Power of Powers’, Seichim Reiki was discovered by Patrick Zeiglar in Egypt. This Egyptian form of Reiki is linked to the divine feminine Goddess Sekhmet, as well as Goddess Kuan Yin. Seichim Reiki, also known as Sekhmet Reiki, incorporates extra symbols and elements that add another dimension to Usui Reiki. This form of Reiki is more expansive and deeply nurturing, working on even more subtle layers of energy to create harmony and balance.
Usui Reiki Level 2 is a prerequisite
This form of Reiki is more powerful than Usui. As such, if this is something you would like to learn, you must have completed Usui Reiki Level 2 first as a prerequisite. It is advisable to have some significant practice of Reiki before commencing this form of Reiki Healing! This is so you understand the basics of energy management, energy protection, and energy hygiene before starting another form of energy healing. Reiki itself is unconditional love and universal energy, however, anytime we open ourselves up to spirit, many different things can happen!
Seichim and your Higher Self
Seichim Reiki works in partnership with our higher selves and the divine force of energy. It also works with and balances both the masculine and feminine parts of us. Having a consistent self-Reiki practice is ideal, as you begin to understand your own personal energy in more depth. This allows you to start to discern with more detail what is yours, and what is other people’s energy and emotions you may have picked up. Seichim works on higher and multi-dimensions, but first we must master our own energy field and frequency.
Reiki Healings with Seichim
When giving clients a Reiki healing treatment, I integrate both Usui and Seichim Reiki, depending on what the client requires. Every Reiki healing treatment is different, and each client is unique. It’s imperative to tailor each session to the client, and to be open to see what the client needs on the day. Each of us have an energy field that shifts and changes from moment to moment. Our job as Reiki practitioners is to meet our clients where they’re at, and not to pre-judge what they need.
My personal experience with Seichim Reiki
Seichim has transformed many aspects of my life on a personal and professional level. I’ve had many incredible experiences with Seichim, both during my Seichim Reiki Courses (Seichim Level 1 and Seichim Mastership), and also during my own self practice. As a Reiki Master, self-practice is the cornerstone of any energy work. I sit in meditation and self-Reiki every single morning without fail. I cleanse my energy channel, raise my vibration, clear any cords or entities, check in with how I’m feeling, and meet myself where I’m at. Often I will journal my experiences, so I can look back and make sense of what is happening! Often things will occur after the fact, but only make sense when I look back and join the dots.
Goddess Sekhmet called me
Seichim Reiki was calling my name almost two years before I actually did Seichim Reiki Level 1! I was introduced to Seichim when I had a beautiful Reiki treatment by a healer in Daylesford. She introduced me to Seichim, and told me I was on the path to Sekhmet Reiki. She gave me a Goddess Sekhmet invocation that I used consistently from that day onwards. I started to see Sekhmet regularly during Reiki healings and in my own personal practice, and started to work with her energy well before I even knew much about Seichim Reiki!
Choosing the right Reiki Master
It took awhile to find the right Seichim Reiki Master, but once I found Nat from Light of Wellness in Queensland, I never looked back. She has been incredible in guiding me on my Seichim Reiki journey, and I’m so grateful. Reiki is not a linear path, and we all need support while we navigate the ups and downs of energy work. If you decide to join me and dive into Seichim, know that this path will likely bring up some challenges!
Ready for the challenges?
Seichim Reiki works on a deeper level, so be prepared to face your fears, and navigate the spirit realm in ways you may not have done before. You’ll be working in different dimensions that you may or may not have encountered. At the same time, Seichim will bring a divine golden light to your practice that will shift your perspective in the most incredible way. Goddess Sekhmet is a powerful force! She will help and guide you on your journey, and clear your path of anything that is no longer serving you. Goddess Kuan Yin is more gentle, and is a necessary divine light to comfort you along the way.

If you are being called, you are ready! Don’t question your intuition, it will never lead you astray. If you are not sure, sit with it and see what the resistance is. If you know you will be doing Seichim next year, my advice would be to take the time now to get into a daily meditation and self-Reiki routine. Even if you’ve only done Reiki Level 1, this is the perfect opportunity to practice self-Reiki. Practice Gassho meditation. Practice the Reiki Principles.
