As I’m starting to gear up to run Reiki Courses again, I thought I’d share why I LOVE being a Reiki healer!
Lockdown looks like it is finally coming to an end soon, and with that, I am very much looking forward to sharing Reiki in person again. In addition, Reiki Courses will be back, starting with Reiki Level 1 and Reiki Level 2 in November 2021.
Why I love being a Reiki healer
Reiki healing is not a common profession, but I can assure you, it is absolutely possible to make an enjoyable living through practicing Reiki! Not only can it be financially rewarding, but more importantly, I love being able to share the gift of Reiki with others. I love being able to help people feel better, to help clear their emotional and energetic blocks, and shift stagnant energy. It is fulfilling from an energetic, emotional and spiritual perspective to help and serve others, to support them in their most vulnerable state, and to hold space for them. There is nothing in the world more amazing than being able to give back, and I’m so grateful for that opportunity.
Why become a Reiki practitioner?
Why become a Reiki healer? My intention when I first started practicing Reiki professionally was to help and serve others. Interestingly, as a Reiki ‘healer’, I am not the one exactly healing the client during a Reiki treatment, but rather I am simply a vessel for Reiki energy to flow through. However, holding space, listening without judgement to clients, and showing compassion and understanding, are all just as important as being a conduit for Reiki energy.
The world needs Reiki healers
I also love the flexibility of working for myself. I can dictate my own working hours, I can take time when I need, and I can work as often or as little as I choose. My business is my own creation, and I don’t worry about what anyone else is doing. I purely focus on what I have to offer, what intuitively feels right, and go with that. Additionally, I welcome all other Reiki healers into the world, as I believe the world needs as many healers as possible! That way we can together raise our vibration, consciousness, and show more compassion and love to each other.
Becoming a Reiki Master
Since becoming a Reiki Master, I’ve been excited to teach and share Reiki with others. Teaching the Reiki Principles, how to practice self-Reiki and Reiki on others, and how energy works gives me pure joy. I truly embody what it means to be a Reiki Master and it has become my lifestyle, not just something that I do for work. To me, this makes the biggest difference with my clients. They can sense my sincerity and compassion.
Research Reiki courses before you book!
Before you book in for a Reiki Course, make sure you do your research. Not every course is the same, and not every Reiki practitioner works the same way. I would highly recommend booking in for a Reiki healing with the Reiki Master first, to see if you vibe together. I would also encourage you to make sure the Reiki Course is run in person (to ensure validity of the course in Australia). Read more about how to choose a Reiki course here.
Learn Reiki with Melbourne Reiki and Wellness
If you are thinking about becoming a Reiki healer, I would encourage you to book in for Reiki Level 1 ‘Shodun’ here. If you have completed your Reiki Level 1, you can book in for Reiki Level 2 ‘Okudon’ here. Reiki Mastership is the next level, and broken into two parts – Reiki Level 3a ‘Reiki Practitioner’ and Reiki Level 3b ‘Reiki Mastership’. To become a Reiki Master is an incredible journey, and it takes time. But it is well worth the patience and practice, I can assure you!
